First Day of School 2009

We're ready to go!

The girls each picked out their first day of school outfits during a trip to Kohl's. Sara's outfit also has leggings, which is really good because her teacher told me that she kept pulling her dress up over her head during circle time.

Poor Sara looks like she's packed too many books in her new princess book bag.

We stopped by Ms. Judith's class during morning planning time for a quick picture.

Both girls enjoyed school and Emma didn't want to leave. Good thing she'll be going 4 days a week!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Yes, I have let the blog slide for a few weeks. We have been really busy getting ready for preschool. Emma will be going 4 days a week while Sara and I will be going 2 days a week. No, I'm not going to be attending preschool but I will be teaching!We were at school everyday last week. The girls enjoyed playing with the other teacher's children while I worked. Sara really liked using the "little potty" that is in my classroom. As you can see, the long hours really got to Emma...and Pluto too!

Sara officially met her teacher yesterday during orientation. I had finished up with all the parents I need to see so I took Sara down to Ms. Karen's room. Look at the face! I bet Ms. Karen saw right through that innocent face!

Emma also met her teacher, Ms. Judith, but I didn't have my camera with me. I'll have to try my best to get a picture during the school day Tuesday!
