Summer Beach Pictures

I know these pictures are not current, but I was ordering prints on Shutterfly and thought I would add them to the blog. Some of them are cute and some are just silly! Just wait for this years picture with "little sister!" This was toward the end of the "photo shoot" and Emma was getting a little out of sorts. Marcus will be so happy I put this one on the blog!
Emma is showing us her sneaky smile.
Emma looks like a little puppet in this picture.
This is my favorite picture of Marcus and Emma. It is so sweet!

Guess What?

Just look at what Miss Emma was up to after her afternoon
nap! I'm not sure if she was crawling around in her crib in circles
or what, but she had a "deer in the headlights" look on her face
when I opened the door. I'm sure we'll see the same face in a few years
when her hand will be caught in the cookie jar!

Nap Time Tricks

Emma has been very busy during nap time trying to turn
over, do flips and who knows what else! I caught her in the
act the other day when she got herself stuck. She couldn't get her
right arm in the correct place to get herself back on her back. We know
Halloween is passed and we should have put away the black cat
and pumpkin pacifiers, but those are her favorite! We searched Target
(where we found the Halloween pacifiers) and the internet
for other holidays, but no luck yet!

Duck Tub Time!

Emma's famous calendar shot. Maybe she'll fit in the bathing suit a little better this summer.

Gran was the first to jump on the duck tub bandwagon. Emma liked it so much at Gran's house that we got one for our house too. My friend Emily was interested in an inflatable tub so I told her I would put some pics of Emma's tub on the site so she could see it. Just think of how embarrassed Emma will be in a few years when she sees these pictures!

Lots of Visiting!

Emma was a busy girl this weekend! She helped keep Aunt Lauren and Uncle Brandon's surprise visit a secret from Grandma and Grandpa for over two months. She was so happy when they finally came to see everyone!
Aunt Lauren is helping Emma with the correct ballet arm positions.
Uncle Brandon helped explain the rules of professional football to Emma.
Emma also got to visit with MawMaw and PawPaw, but Mommy's camera batteries were too low to take any more pictures. :-( Next time Mommy will remember to put extras in the diaper bag!

Lovely in Lavender

Emma is modeling one of her new Christmas gifts on our way to church last Sunday. When we picked her up, she had taken off both of her shoes and shook her head "no" at all of the nursery workers. I'm glad they think it is as funny as we do. I've also noticed that I have bad posture!

Thanks Emily!

Yeah! Thanks for your suggestions Emily! I put the pics in a different folder and it worked! Here is an actual picture of Emma eating her peaches this morning.

Peaches, Uncle Brandon and Aunt Lauren

This morning Emma was introduced to a new taste treat...Peaches. She seemed to enjoy them a lot more than those peas earlier in the week. We took pictures, but I'm having trouble getting them on the blog for some reason. Anyway...last night, Emma helped Grandma celebrate her birthday at Outback. Emma enjoyed playing with Aunt Lauren's necklace and kicking Uncle Brandon's leg. She also observed each and every mouthful anyone had, from the bloomin' onion, salads and steaks. She even gave Grandma a dirty look when she wouldn't share her Victoria's filet. We better get this girl some "big meat!"

Thank you to everyone who is contributing to the girls college fund through Upromise at Publix. We now have .66 cents to send Emma and "little sister" to Auburn! We're getting there!

Christmas Review

It took me a few minutes, but I've figured out how to get a picture from the camera onto the blog! Most of you have already seen this picture on the Christmas card, but now that I've got the hang of this I can post more pictures without taking all of Emma's nap time! The Mistress of Emmatopia is letting me know that she is in need of assistance. I'll add more later!

Little Emma

Wow! It's hard to think about our "big girl" being so tiny! She's going to look like a giant when we put her next to her new sister in a few months. I wanted to see if I could really put a picture on here easily...and I actually could! I promise to post current pics soon!

First Blog

I'm new to this whole "blog" thing. I thought it would be a good way for all the family to keep up-to-date on all of Emma's happenings. In May, we will add all of "little sister's" firsts too! Over the next several days I will experiment and try to add more goodies to the blog. Thanks for visiting!
